La Joya Facilities

Exquisitely designed, La Joya is an outstanding example of a modern Caribbean structure. Situated obliquely opposite the Jinnah Memorial Mosque, an intricate, architectural masterpiece at the foot of Trinidad's first capital, St. Joseph, La Joya is a contemporary landmark and a hub of residential, business, sporting and cultural activity in East Trinidad.

La Joya houses a classy auditorium, conferencing accommodation, Courtyard of the Artisans, Private Room, sporting complex and main meeting Hall against the backdrop of the swimming pool nestled in lush greenery.

Twenty-four hour security surveillance is provided and spacious parking arrangements, make La Joya the complete place for convenience and comfort.

The Auditorium

The three hundred and fifty (350) seating auditorium is state of the art with modern acoustical devices. The semi-circular design with comfortable theatre style seating is fully carpeted and air-conditioned and is ideal for plays, shows, graduation ceremonies and conferences.

Courtyard of the Artisans

The Courtyard of the Artisans captures the British, French, Spanish and Caribbean architecture of the facility as it is positioned under the eaves of La Joya's residential units.

Courtyard functions can accommodate up to two hundred (200) patrons and the outdoor ambience lends privacy and sophistication to events, a lovely location for outdoor shows, breakfasts and mid-morning brunches.

Conference Facilities

The state-of-the art indoor facility can accommodate up to two hundred persons and is equipped with flip charts, overhead projectors and modern multi-media equipment, thus popular for meetings, negotiation sessions, workshops and small seminars. Video and tele-conferencing facilities are available on request. There is a unique view of the beautiful Trinidad northern range from the conference vantage point making this space beautiful for wedding receptions and special functions.

The Private Room

Here is a small intimate room to accommodate up to 25 persons. It's private and personal with air-conditioned facilities perfect for small working groups and break-out sessions.

The Gymnasium

The ultimate facility is the sporting complex which is the complete home for swimming, aqua sports, aerobics, spin, weight training, gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, netball, squash and dance. Top instructors and coaches are employed for your benefit and the hours of operation are conveniently arranged for students, young people and mature citizens.

The Main Hall & Poolside

The multi-purpose Hall can accommodate up to one thousand persons (1000) and is ideally suited for large weddings receptions, parties, dinners, graduations, annual meetings and corporate events. Fully carpeted, the Hall opens out to the poolside with beautiful garden scenery that serves as a lovely backdrop for any entertainment event. Cooling and air-conditioning, as well as, special lighting can be arranged on request.

The Marabella Conference Room

Conveniently located on the Southern Main Road, Marabella, this conference room houses up to 150 persons and can be used for wedding receptions and special events, as well as conferences and corporate functions.
